What we are
We're an aggregator, not a testing lab. We gather, verify, and structure publicly available information about AI tools so you can compare them side by side in one place. We don't run tools through hands-on lab tests, and we'll never claim to. What we do is bring scattered, often unclear information — pricing, features, security, compliance — into one consistent, honest format.
Where our data comes from
Every data point we publish comes from a verifiable source:
- The tool's official website and pricing pages
- Published documentation
- Official security and compliance certifications
- The providers' own terms of service and privacy policies
When something can't be confirmed from an official source, we show it as Unknown rather than guess.
Compliance and privacy flags — GDPR, whether a tool trains on your data, and MFA support — are positions the vendor states, so we report them as vendor-claimed. SOC 2 and ISO 27001 mean the vendor holds that certificate; it may only cover its business or enterprise plans, not every tier. Check the vendor's own trust page or privacy policy for the detail on your plan.
How we score tools
Our scores reflect how tools compare across the factors that matter to real users. Each tool is assessed on the same criteria:
- Pricing and value
- Features and capabilities
- Security and compliance
- Data handling and training policies
- Transparency and trust signals
A score is our editorial rating out of 10 — based on published facts and applied the same way to every tool, not the result of hands-on testing. Two tools scoring 8.2 and 8.1 are genuinely close; small differences reflect small distinctions in the underlying data, not a definitive ranking.

How we keep data current
AI tools change their pricing and features frequently. We re-check our listings on a regular cycle and every tool shows a “last verified” date so you know how fresh the information is. If you spot something out of date, send a correction — a link to the vendor's own page is all we need. Accuracy is the whole point.
On each comparison page you'll also see the date we last checked pricing directly with the vendor, plus a short set of key takeaways and a FAQ — both generated from the data we store, so they always stay in step with the figures in the table.
How we make money
We earn affiliate commissions when you click through to some tools and sign up. This is clearly labelled wherever it appears. Crucially, affiliate relationships never influence our rankings, our scores, or which tools we include.
A tool we earn nothing from is ranked exactly the same way as one we do. We'd rather lose a commission than lose your trust.
What we don't do
- Accept payment for better rankings
- Let vendors edit their own scores
- Hide our affiliate links
- Claim to test tools we haven't tested
